Breath Work

Breath work is a simple technique that clears stuck energy and can help you to access your spirit. This easy, rhythmic breath can be learned in a single session. While simple, the results are so profound that the twice weekly breath work sessions at the Hub are our most popular workshops.

How will learning breath work help me?

For one, conscious breathing is a very accessible form of meditation and a doorway to spirit. Within as little as 7 minutes, participants will begin to feel energy move within their body. You may experience this as a pulse, vibration or burst of an inner electric energy.

This awakened energy, also called qi or shakti, helps us to release fear and  inhibition as well as physical and emotional blocks. It can also spark profound inspiration and help us connect to our deepest intuition.

Many participants find that depending on the day, and what is unfolding in their lives, breath work can release physical tightness or long-buried sorrow. But as these blocks and sadness fall away, this healing breath can also unleash a profound sense of joy, well being and inner peace.

Author, teacher and healer, David Elliott, who has trained all of the Hub instructors, says “The bottom line is that breath is the fastest, cheapest, and most effective way to increase your awareness and connect with the energy of the universe.” The power of the practice is heightened when done with a group. Breath work can enrich and transform your life and is one that will bring potent results even when we practice it for as little as 10 or 15 minutes a day at home.

Private sessions are available for individuals, couples and families as are workshops for business, social or other groups wishing to create an atmosphere of ease, trust and connection.
